Important: Penpals Interactives are compatible with PCs. They are not compatible with Mac computers.
Step 1: Enter your access code
To begin using Penpals Interactive, you need to enter your access code on your Cambridge GO teacher account.
Do you already have a Cambridge GO account?
- Log in at https://cambridge.org/go.
- Click ‘Add new resources’ and enter your access code.
Do you need to register?
- Create your account on Cambridge GO.
- After registration, click ‘Add new resources’ and enter your access code.
- Tip: Use your school email address when registering, if possible.
Step 2: Download and install
Once you add your resource, you will see a ZIP file available for download. This file contains the Penpals Interactive software.
If your school has an IT team, they can assist with installation.
Installation instructions for windows
- Download the ZIP file from Cambridge GO.
- Right-click the file and select Extract All. A new folder will be created.
- Open the folder and click the green Setup icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Penpals Interactive will now appear in your Applications folder.
- You can also drag the icon to your dock for quick access.
MSI for network deployment
- Inside the ZIP file, there is a separate folder labeled ‘MSI’.
- The
.msifile can be used for deploying the installation across a network.
Opening Penpals Interactive
After installation:
- A Penpals Interactive icon will appear on your desktop.
- To launch the software, double-click the icon whenever you want to use it.
